Counter-congress

This June, the largest academic conference in Canada (and one of the largest in the world), Congress, is being held in Montreal at McGill University, with the theme ‘sustaining shared futures’. As part of a left-wing counterbalance to the mainstream conference, Black Rose Books is organizing Counter-Congress, a series of talks, workshops, salons (and parties!), held in the evenings after the main conference, aiming to think about the future from a more radical perspective.
Members of CJM will speak on Friday, for those who want to know about our free, expanded and accessible transit campaign or to learn about real solutions based in climate justice for the end of colonial racial capitalism.
